Travis Loses Bid To Stop Class Cert. In OT Suit

Law360 (November 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge in Houston has rejected Travis Software Corp.'s argument that the relatively small size of a proposed class in an overtime suit against the company meant that a collective action was not warranted, and certified a class that could include 15 to 26 current and former customer support representatives.

Judge Lee Rosenthal of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas granted the plaintiffs' motion for conditional class certification in a memorandum and order issued on Friday.
