Apple Sued Over IPhone's Wireless Touch Screen

Law360, New York (November 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- EMG Technology LLC has accused Apple Inc. of violating a recently issued patent relating to touch screens used to access and control online content on a wireless device, less than a week after the Los Angeles-based company received ownership rights to the patent.

The complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, levels charges at the manufacturer of the popular iPhone of both direct and contributory infringement of the patent as well as inducing infringement.
