Motor Coach, Bus Fire Plaintiffs Move To Mediation

Law360, New York (December 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has agreed to allow Motor Coach Industries International Inc. to continue mediation it started before filing for Chapter 11 with survivors and relatives of the victims of a fatal bus fire during the 2005 Hurricane Rita evacuation.

In an order Monday, Judge Brendan L. Shannon of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware modified the automatic stay in Motor Coach's bankruptcy case so that the company can continue to negotiate with the plaintiffs.
