Whistleblower Challenges $40M Medtronic Settlement

Law360 (August 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Just two weeks after medical device maker Medtronic Inc. agreed to pay $40 million to settle allegations that it offered kickbacks to doctors who used the company’s spinal products, a whistleblower in the case is lashing out at the deal, saying the case requires further scrutiny.
