Tweeter Gets OK To Convert To Ch. 7

Law360, New York (December 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has approved a request by consumer electronics retailer Tweeter Opco LLC to convert its Chapter 11 bankruptcy and liquidate its business under Chapter 7.

In orders signed Friday, Judge Mary F. Walrath of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware converted the case and appointed George Miller from the accounting firm Miller Coffey Tate as the interim trustee to oversee the liquidation.
