Class Proposal Doesn't Stick In DuPont Teflon MDL

Law360 (December 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A district judge has rejected a bid for class certification from 23 potential statewide classes in a $5 billion multidistrict litigation against DuPont Co. over Teflon-coated cookware, finding that many of the lead plaintiffs could not even prove they were members of the purported class.
