EU Won't Back Off Telecom Antitrust Efforts: Kroes

Law360 (December 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Citing previous court successes involving France Telecom SA and Deutsche Telekom AG, European Union Competition Commissioner Neelie Kroes indicated that the regulator would not back down from its nearly $152 million fine of Telefonica SA that the Spanish telecom company appealed more than a year ago.
