Etex, Acacia Unit Settle Cell Phone Patent Claims

Law360 (December 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Acacia Research Corp. unit Location Based Services LLC and Etex Telephone Cooperative Inc. have struck a settlement and licensing deal to end Etex's involvement in a patent suit LBS filed in October over three patents related to providing location-based services over cell phone networks.
