Ex-ISE Vice Chair Gets 18 Months For Insider Trading

Law360, New York (December 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The former vice chairman of the International Securities Exchange LLC, a Manhattan-based options and stock exchange, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for insider trading related to ISE's $2.8 billion merger with Eurex Frankfurt AG in 2007.

U.S. District Judge Laura Taylor Swain also ordered John Marshall on Monday to serve 12 months of home confinement as part of a three-year term of supervised release, according to Lev L. Dessin, acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York.
