Gen Re Exec Gets 2 Years In Prison

Law360, New York (December 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has sentenced former chief executive of General Reinsurance Corp. Ronald E. Ferguson to two years in prison for his alleged participation in a reinsurance fraud scheme that cost American International Group Inc. shareholders roughly $600 million.

Ferguson was also ordered to pay a $200,000 fine and will serve two years of supervised release.
