Judge Certifies Class In Honda Braking System Suit

Law360 (December 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has certified a nationwide class of plaintiffs in a lawsuit against American Honda Motor Co. that claims the company misled consumers about a braking system touted as helping prevent or mitigate collisions.

Judge Valerie Baker Fairbank of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California granted the plaintiffs' request to certify a class Tuesday.
