Calif. Appeals Court Says Skin Care Labeling Deal Was Fair

By Cara Salvatore (June 22, 2016, 6:22 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Tuesday shot down objections to a settlement in a class action claiming Mario Badescu Skin Care Inc. didn't disclose all of the ingredients in a skin care product, saying that personal injury claims could still be brought separately from the economic damages that were settled.

In the suit, brought by Wankyu Choi and Mary Restaino, Mario Badescu is planning to give class members $45 per container of Mario Badescu's Healing Cream that they bought.
