Court Denies Class Certification In FEMA Trailer MDL

Law360, New York (December 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has refused to grant class certification to thousands of plaintiffs in a multidistrict litigation accusing the government and makers of trailers provided to residents displaced by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005 of exposing them to high levels of formaldehyde.
