Drywall Makers Fight Bid For New Price-Fixing MDL Plaintiffs

Law360, Philadelphia (July 6, 2016, 3:47 PM EDT) -- A group of drywall manufacturers urged a Pennsylvania federal judge on Tuesday to deny a motion that they argued would improperly allow seven new class representatives to be shoehorned into ongoing multidistrict price-fixing litigation.

The companies said that the motion last month to add a group of new indirect purchaser plaintiffs had come too late in the litigation and that there were no grounds to allow for the intervention.
