Korean Tech Co. Files Patent Suit Over BlackBerry

By Melissa Lipman (December 31, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- South Korean technology company MSTG Inc. has sued Research In Motion Ltd. over three patents related to wireless communications just a day after another licensing company hit the BlackBerry manufacturer over a different patent.

The suit, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleges that RIM willfully infringed MSTG's patents and cites the BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry 9000 and BlackBerry 9530 Storm models.
