Sills Cummis Recruits Former Counsel To Gov. Christie
By Jeannie O'Sullivan (August 2, 2016, 5:53 PM EDT) -- A former senior counsel for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has joined the Newark headquarters of Sills Cummis & Gross PC, where he'll use his public and private sector experience to enhance the firm's litigation practice group.
Michael S. Carucci comes to the firm's 140-attorney roster, including 70 litigators, as of counsel after a three-year stint advising Christie on legal, legislative and regulatory issues. He previously handled high-stakes litigation at New York-based Shearman & Sterling LLP for four years, building his expertise in the areas of complex antitrust, commercial, mergers and acquisitions, securities and white-collar criminal and civil defense.
