BB&T Dodges Pa. Atty's Suit Over Line Of Credit

Law360, New York (August 17, 2016, 4:39 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Tuesday adopted a magistrate’s report and dismissed a prominent personal injury attorney’s suit accusing BB&T Corp. of acting coercively to renegotiate the terms of a $1.25 million line of credit, but gave the lawyer one more chance to “cure the deficiencies” of his breach of contract claim.

Attorney Richard Angino, based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, claimed in his breach of contract and civil conspiracy suit that the bank’s conduct regarding the loan has caused him to fall behind in paying his home mortgage and the rent for his law offices.
