By Bryan Koenig (August 17, 2016, 4:02 PM EDT) -- Akerman LLP on Wednesday announced a further expansion of its New York office with the addition of six senior attorneys, including five partners, representing real estate, litigation and tax practices and bolstering its strength in the sectors of health care, energy and hospitality.
Joining Akerman's New York office, the firm's second largest, are real estate transactional partner Thomas Diorio, tax partner Ira Stechel, litigation partner Joshua Bernstein, partners for health care transactions Martin Monaco and William Weiner, and of counsel Stefi George, who also joins the tax practice group, according to Wednesday's announcement.
