Lockheed Martin Faces Patent Suit Over F-22 Planes

Law360, New York (January 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Zoltek Corp. has filed a patent infringement suit against military contractor Lockheed Martin Corp., almost three years after an appeals court ruling first thwarted the company's attempts to seek damages from the U.S. government.

Lockheed Martin is accused of infringing a patent covering a process for manufacturing fiber products used in F-22 fighter planes, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
