Waffle House Background Check Suit Paused For Appeal

Law360, Miami (August 31, 2016, 10:27 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Wednesday halted a proposed class action over Waffle House Inc.'s allegedly secretive background checks, finding the Southern breakfast chain's appeal of his decision not to send the case into arbitration is not frivolous and that a stay would conserve judicial resources.
