Spitzer Scores Trial Delay In Grasso Case

Law360 (August 9, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In an unexpected turnaround, a state judge on Tuesday delayed a trial in the excessive pay package lawsuit brought by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer against tarnished former New York Stock Exchange chairman Richard Grasso.

At a hearing this week, New York Supreme Court Justice Charles Ramos delayed the trial—which was slated to begin Sept. 5—until Oct. 16.
