Yukos' U.S. Case Lingers, Russians Probe $4.5B Fraud

Law360 (August 9, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A scathing filing Wednesday in OAO Yukos’ Chapter 15 case argued that the oil company is still solvent and that a Russian court is running roughshod over shareholders’ rights.

The filing on behalf of Group Menatap Limited—identified in court papers as “a party-in-interest”—comes in response to a status report lodged with the court by Yukos’ interim receiver, Eduard Rebgun. Rebgun’s status report was filed with the court Monday.
