SLUSA Doesn't Doom Lord Abbett Case: 3rd Circ.

Law360, New York (January 21, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal appeals court has revived litigation accusing Lord Abbett & Co. LLC of charging investors excessive fees, holding that the Securities Litigation Uniform Standards Act of 1998 doesn't require an entire case be thrown out when the suit includes some claims preempted by SLUSA and some that are not.
