Last Claims Tossed In Pension Suit V. El Paso

Law360 (January 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge on Wednesday granted summary judgment in favor of El Paso Corp., throwing out two remaining claims after a putative class of workers accused the natural gas company of shortchanging them when it converted to a cash balance retirement plan.

A motion to reconsider a previous order throwing out other claims in the case, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, was also denied.
