Former Brooklyn Federal Prosecutor Joins K&L Gates

By Adam Rhodes (September 28, 2016, 4:07 PM EDT) -- A former New York federal prosecutor who helped win guilty pleas from individuals who hacked newswires to trade on nonpublic information has joined K&L Gates LLP as a partner in Boston.

Christopher L. Nasson is a former assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York's business and securities fraud section. He helped win five guilty pleas in a hacking and insider trading case as well as a guilty plea from a broker who helped trump up the price of Cubed Inc. stock. At K&L Gates, his practice will focus on white collar defense, government enforcement and internal investigations.
