Investors Hit Stan Lee, Marvel With $750M Suit

Law360, New York (January 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Stan Lee Media Inc. shareholders seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in profits associated with the Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man and other iconic movie and comic book characters have filed a derivative securities class action against Marvel Entertainment Inc. and famed superhero creator Stan Lee.

The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, is seeking a judgment that Lee assigned his creator's rights to the publicly traded Stan Lee Media in 1998.
