GAO Rejects $71M Afghanistan Air Control Contract Protest
Law360, Washington (October 6, 2016, 8:27 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied a protest by Readiness Management Support LC of a $71 million U.S. Navy air traffic management services contract's award to a rival, finding the protester failed to show the evaluation of its proposal was unreasonable.
RMS had disagreed with a Navy evaluation board’s cost evaluation and higher technical rating for the winning proposal from Midwest Air Traffic Control Service Inc., but failed to show the board ignored pertinent information or made procedural errors, according to the GAO's Sept. 7 decision, which was released Wednesday.
