Cisco Wants Lawyer's Records In 'Troll Tracker' Case

Law360, New York (January 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Cisco Systems Inc. is continuing to press for access to patent attorney Eric Albritton's medical records as proof of his “mental anguish” in his defamation lawsuit over comments made on a Cisco employee's “Patent Troll Tracker” blog.

On Wednesday, the company filed a motion in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas asking a district judge to reconsider a magistrate judge's denial earlier this month of Cisco's motion to compel production of the documents.
