Jevic Could Disrupt Real Estate Reorganizations: Professors

Law360, New York (October 18, 2016, 4:26 PM EDT) -- A pending U.S. Supreme Court case over a bankruptcy settlement that thwarted truck drivers’ legal claim against their former employer could disrupt commercial real estate restructurings if justices expand a rule dictating the order in which creditors get paid in Chapter 11, law professors argued in a court brief Monday.
