Deepwater Attys To Get $555M Payday After BP Settlements

Law360, Los Angeles (October 27, 2016, 10:48 PM EDT) -- The attorneys who represented people and businesses affected by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill will share $555.2 million in fees after negotiating approximately $13 billion worth of settlements with BP PLC in a case that a Louisiana federal judge called one of the largest multidistrict litigations in history.
