Kodak, Fujifilm, Others Get Aluminum Antitrust Claims Tossed

By Kelly Knaub (November 30, 2016, 9:25 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge Wednesday dismissed some complaints in multidistrict litigation accusing Goldman Sachs and others of illegally manipulating aluminum prices, saying that Kodak, Fujifilm and others cannot sue because they do not operate in the aluminum warehousing market.

U.S. District Judge Katherine B. Forrest tossed complaints brought against Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Glencore Ltd. by Agfa Corp., Eastman Kodak Co., Fujifilm, Mag Instrument Inc. and Reynolds Consumer Products LLC, saying the rationale set forth in two prior decisions requires dismissal.
