Ill. Atty Says PNC Bank Suit Against Him Is Too Late

Law360, Springfield (December 1, 2016, 10:42 PM EST) -- A Chicago real estate lawyer on Wednesday urged an Illinois federal court to toss PNC Bank NA’s suit accusing him of creating shell companies to dodge paying $5.3 million for a loan default, arguing that it’s time-barred because he says he told the bank about the companies amid the original lawsuit over the default.
