Standard Chartered Raids Barclays For Divisional GC

Law360, London (December 1, 2016, 5:53 PM GMT) -- Standard Chartered has recruited a top regulatory lawyer from Barclays as its new general counsel for clients and products to oversee legal matters across the bank’s main business units, it said Thursday.

Chris Allen will leave Barclays, where he is currently head of regulatory policy, before Christmas and join Standard Chartered on Jan. 16, 2017, where he will be responsible for the legal teams across corporate and investment banking, commercial banking, private banking and wealth management.
