Media General-Nexstar Talks Should Sink Deal, Group Says

Law360, New York (December 7, 2016, 6:44 PM EST) -- The American Cable Association is continuing to press the Federal Communications Commission to deny Media General Corp. and Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc. a waiver to complete their $4.6 billion merger before the broadcast incentive auction ends, warning in an ex parte filing Tuesday of undisclosed retransmission consent negotiations.
