'Rock Revolution' Guitar Infringes Viacom Patent: Suit

Law360 (February 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Viacom Inc. and its Harmonix Music Systems Inc. subsidiary have accused the maker of the “Rock Revolution” video game of infringing a patent for a game controller that simulates a musical instrument.

Viacom launched the suit against Japan-based Konami Digital Entertainment Co. Ltd. and its U.S. unit Konami Digital Entertainment on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
