Former Broker Dealer Handed 9 Year Sentence

Law360, New York (August 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Six months after being convicted of securities fraud and commercial bribery, the former owner of defunct broker-dealer Lloyd Wade Securities Inc. was sentenced to nine years in prison on Tuesday for participating in a scheme that ultimately drained investors in an online gaming company of more than $12 million.

David Rutkoske, the former president of Lloyd Wade Securities Inc. was found guilty of conspiracy and securities fraud in February for his role in the scheme, which involved manipulated trading in Internet gaming company NetBet Inc....
