District Court Kept Jurisdiction After Arbitration: 11th Circ.
Law360, Miami (December 19, 2016, 8:02 PM EST) -- The Eleventh Circuit has affirmed in a published opinion that a district court had jurisdiction to confirm an arbitration award despite the plaintiff's move to drop the underlying suit and to enforce the confirmation against related parties joined to the arbitration award.
