9th Circ. Stays False Ad Appeal After E-Cig Co.'s Ch. 11

Law360, New York (January 5, 2017, 2:27 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit on Wednesday again agreed to stay an appeal in deceptive marketing litigation against e-cigarette maker NJOY in light of the company filing for bankruptcy, keeping the appeal challenging the denial of class certification paused after it was initially put on hold pending the resolution of several other actions.
