Texas Gov't Contracts Would Lose Privacy Under New Bills

Law360, Dallas (January 5, 2017, 3:46 PM EST) -- Government contracts would be subject to more public scrutiny under Texas legislation filed this week proposing to lift previous rules that allow public contract bids and final contract details to remain private, with the bills coming in direct response to two Texas Supreme Court decisions.
