SEC Taps Khuzami To Lead Enforcement Division

Law360, New York (February 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Former general counsel for Deutsche Bank AG and federal prosecutor Robert Khuzami has been named the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s new Enforcement Division leader.

Newly installed SEC Chairwoman Mary L. Schapiro announced Thursday that Khuzami, 52, will serve as director of the Enforcement Division, which is expected to take an aggressive approach to securities law violations under the oversight of the Obama administration.
