EEOC Cases V. Albertson's Stayed For Settlement

Law360, New York (February 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Federal judges have stayed three lawsuits the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission brought against grocery store chain Albertson's LLC so the parties can hammer out the final details of a settlement.

Judge Lewis T. Babcock, Judge Christine M. Arguello and Magistrate Judge Craig B. Shaffer of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado stayed the three actions until March 20 in separate orders Wednesday and Thursday.

Court documents showed that Albertson's and the EEOC reached an agreement on the monetary terms on Feb. 12....
