Class Seeks Final OK For $1.7M Deal In GPU MDL

Law360 (February 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A class of direct purchasers in multidistrict antitrust litigation against Nvidia Corp. and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. over graphics processing units has asked the federal court overseeing the case for final approval of a $1.7 million settlement deal.

The direct purchaser plaintiffs filed a motion on Thursday asking Judge William Alsup of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to greenlight the deal, which won preliminary approval in December.
