Trump Takes Action On Keystone, Dakota Access Pipelines
Law360, New York (January 24, 2017, 12:04 PM EST) -- President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed presidential memoranda aimed at pushing forward the Keystone XL and Dakota Access oil pipelines, controversial projects whose progress was slowed by former President Barack Obama amid fierce resistance from tribes and environmental groups.

Trump, who had voiced his support for both projects on the campaign trail, said Tuesday that his administration would renegotiate their terms in order to get them approved and built. However, he provided no details on what terms would be renegotiated, and how.
