Law360, New York (February 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has ruled that a class action against Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America alleging that the company misrepresented its annuities to customers can go to trial, denying Allianz's motion to decertify the class and part of its motion for summary judgment.
Judge Ann D. Montgomery of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota ruled Thursday that common questions outweigh individual questions for the proposed class of people who bought Allianz's annuities.
