Law360 (March 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The lead plaintiffs in a class and collective action of consolidated overtime compensation suits against securities firm A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc. have asked a federal court to approve a special master's recommendation for divvying up a proposed $12 million settlement.
In a motion filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, the lead class representatives and class counsel asked the court to sign off on the special master's report regarding the allocation of settlement proceeds among plaintiffs living in 49 states covered by the deal, not including California.
