By Adam Rhodes (March 2, 2017, 6:30 PM EST) -- The former Virginia attorney general and current finance chairman of the state's Republican Party joined Cozen O'Connor's state attorneys general practice as a shareholder in its Washington, D.C., office, the firm announced.
Jerry Kilgore, who served as the Old Dominion's AG from 2002 to 2005, will assist clients facing AG investigations, inquiry, litigation and policy disputes. Kilgore joins Cozen O'Connor from McGuireWoods LLP, where he was a senior adviser in the firm's consulting arm, according to the announcement on Monday.
The practice's reputation, Kilgore told Law360 on Thursday, was a motivating factor in his decision to join the firm.
