Tribune Co. Asks Court To Halt Personal Injury Suits

Law360, New York (March 4, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Tribune Co. has asked a bankruptcy court to prevent a personal injury lawsuit against the beleaguered media giant from proceeding in an effort to stave off a flood of similar lawsuits that the company claims will impede its Chapter 11 proceedings and cost $1 million before insurance coverage kicks in.
