Social Media Co. Asks Justices To Hear Facebook CFAA Suit

Law360, New York (March 14, 2017, 8:38 PM EDT) -- A social media aggregation company has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review a Ninth Circuit ruling that it accessed Facebook users’ accounts in violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, calling the lower court’s order both “erroneous and unprecedented.”
