Fed. Circ. Upholds Special Patent Expert Appointment

Law360 (March 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal appeals court has ruled that a patent on power converter technology asserted by O2 Micro International Ltd. against Monolithic Power Systems Inc. is invalid, at the same time upholding a district court's power to appoint its own special expert in complex patent cases.
