Senior Regional Trial Attorney Leaves SEC

Law360, New York (March 17, 2017, 5:23 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission lost a senior regional trial attorney this month, according to court papers.

Papers filed in New York federal court this week sought permission for David L. Axelrod, a senior trial counsel with the SEC’s Philadelphia office, to withdraw from a pending case given that he left the agency as of March 10.

An SEC spokesman confirmed Friday that Axelrod had left the commission. Axelrod could not be reached for comment Friday.
